How much does it cost to hire a stage?+
The price depends on floor area and height, indoor or outdoor use, roof and weather protection, load capacity, setup and dismantling time, and travel. With the venue, date, desired stage size and ground conditions, RAMPENSAU can give you a reliable first estimate.
What stage size do I need?+
The area follows from the line-up, backline, access routes and sightlines to the audience. As a guide, a band with a drum kit usually needs at least 8 by 6 metres; a lectern needs far less. We size the stage from the running order.
Does my stage need structural or safety documentation?+
As soon as trusses, roofs or larger structures are involved, yes. We supply the required documentation, assembly and usage instructions and paperwork for the authorities and event management, and coordinate directly with the local authority if needed.
Do you build outdoor stages with weather protection?+
Yes. For open-air events we build covered stages with a truss roof, side weather protection and ballast. Wind loads, ground conditions and approval are checked in advance so the structure stays safe in changing weather.
Can I hire platforms without installation?+
Yes. Nivtec platforms, legs, railings and stairs are available as dry hire for collection. For planning we provide a free calculator that works out legs, railings and rows for your grid.
How long does it take to build a stage?+
A platform stage without a roof is ready within a few hours, depending on size. A covered open-air stage with truss roof, rigging and ballast usually takes one day to build. We plan the exact time around the event schedule.
